Joseph's Hair Place has been located in Astoria, New York for over 40 years. Starting as a small barber shop catering to only men it has grown into a full service hair salon catering to everyone, young and old, male or female.

Our stylists are all fully qualified and know what it takes to make you feel welcome and ensure that your visit to us is a pleasurable one. A friendly relaxed atmosphere is always evident and we will go that extra mile to show you how important you are to us.

Despite the stylists' wealth of experience we do not believe that training stops there. To remain a successful stylist, it is essential to regard hairdressing as a continual learning experience. Our stylists always attend the latest shows, seminars and additional courses which enables them to stay ahead of the rest.

The salon itself has undergone a facelift since Gladys took it over in January 2007. A new waxing room has been added for the privacy and convenience of our clientele. Spa manicures and pedicures have also been added.
